Robert Earl Keen in conjunction with KPIG radio hosted this fabulous concert, dubbed the Robert Earl Keen Texas Uprising and Swine Soiree (TUSS), on Father's Day 2001. Performers included, among others, Nickel Creek, Toni Price, Todd Snider, and of course REK. A few songs into his set, Robert Earl invited his special guest Billy Joe Shaver (along with guitar player Jesse "Guitar" Taylor) to take the stage for a special three song set. These songs are available below in MP3 format, along with a song from Todd Snider about the death of Eddy Shaver.

Before downloading the songs, I suggest you check out this great article about the TUSS from The Mercury News.
